i really love weekend
the time that me + H can really curl up, doing absolutely nothing :)
haa haaa... sounds like heaven!

Some of our furniture arribed and settled already, though minor mishaps showed up here and there. but i guess that's normal , no?
Considering we build the house and furnish it without the help of contractor or even interior designer :P
we trial and error almost everything.

One thing that failed (ok there are two):
1. The Chairs.
They are not suppossed to be very bulky and stiff like these!!
they made the product so different from the picture we showed them.
So back to chairless living room...and : HUNT AGAIN!!!!

2. The Kitchen Set
We put a glass wall over the table top..and turns out, not very kewl idea :)
it's broken already when we install the pipe over the sink :(
so maybe we switched to the natural stone mozaic (as we originally planned actually!)
-> ill show the pic later :D

But i have a favorite spot also, places that i can really be relax and 'do nothing'
this is one of the spot :
We made floor to ceiling library and put some floor decorative application from wood, where we can read the books in 'horizontal' position!! Our fave :P

So how is it been? Mmmm... life is great :) TG

i'm at the new office already, for the last 2weeks.Husband too...but this is his first week.
i'm adjusting+settling in, still hardly knew anybody, since my place is abit excluded from all the 'CROWD'. But so far all the response is positive.

A bit busy with all this new thingy. but so so so ...EXCITED!
Hopefully this is a better start :)

i will update soon, meanwhile this is the "FACE" of my temporary crashing place.

i forgot how i used to love these.

Today,on a spirit of really doing nothing on my final days at this office i stood and stumbled upon this pic.
How i remember time passes us by
Sometimes on a blink of an eye and we really can not turn back the time.
Good times i have shared.Worst moments come every now and then
But after a walk on the time length it is all really just a memory.
Memories we left behind. Some to remember, some we are trying to forget.

I just think that the road ahead will not be as simple. or as familiar but i guess i have to come in well prepared.

holaaaaa, it is May already ;-)
i haven't been able (&available :D) to update the blog, since tremendous amount of things need to be done.
Mostly work related (i know, blaaaahhh) hihihi.

But alot of things zings zings (read : travel back and forth) in my mind. Designs related. and it annoys me so much that only a little thing that i really can pour into reality. I need more time.
Being a single fighter in the project is fun, since all the ideas and all the plan come from MOI (hahahaha) - and husband ;P but.... all the hectic part is also mine & mine alone.

I keep my spirit high though! This is the season of blooming flowies & Sunny Weather and all the fun activity. I just need to gear up and speed up the speed!! Can Do!!

hehehe, it's been a lousy week since the terrible cold is here.
Actualy i had it since Bali (means 3 weeks ago rite??? hooowsssshhh!!) and then it get a little better, but i went to East Java to visit my little niece (she's so smarttt and a handfull, hahaha) then it got worse again '( to this day. It's a bit better now but can't say im 100% recovered yet. But do hope i ll be better :) :)
So, what have i been up to?? Sick but i'm trying to be productive :P :P (or so i said)
A bit busy with pile of batiks plan to be cut as cute dresses...See below and you'll be tempted :D and still going back and forth to BSD City to check out our house progress (it will done within a month !! yippeyy!! i love you,husband )
so far we are almost done with the room interior,fish pond,and the terrace...maybe next will be our family room and kitchen drawer set...just can't wait :P
just wait the whole picture then ill share it, so far it is still a huge mess hihi
and,i feel the passion of applying for new jobs again :) is this a sign? Hopefully so. I think maybe that this place is about time to receive someone NEW ,do hope i will be with the new job soon ;-)So what else?? oh! Health Progress & Weight Loss Program? I plan to get back on the program next week,when i fully recovered from this flu.Period :)

happy 2011!
when i look back at yesterday,2010 was surely such an important year for me, and maybe for my family as well. cause on last august me&dear husband (then-lovable boyfriend) decided to get married.After our long (& happy& fun) almost 10 years dating journey ;)so yes some of the 2010's memories was happy ones.
but a bit of a shock news came from my close college friend Trimeinanto Kuswandito(we use to call him Mas Adit),he passed away a day after christmas.and yesterday we visit his grave & dropped by to his house to his family's house @south Jakarta, where his father shared to us his battle with leukikimia for about three months.and when mentioned that Mas Adit didnt want anybody knows about his sickness.
So this is new year, i know it will surely brings al ot of hope for all of us.
But it is never wrong to glance back for a moment,and took a long look at our past.
And we will know, what our mistakes.our bad mishaps.and all the sweet memories.
so we will definetely appreciate all our moments ahead,with our lovelies ;-)

Dear Mas Adit,
We feel so lost, and we lost you
but we truly knows that this is the best
and this brief goodbye of ours ended the pain you had for so long
so, we will always remember good times we shared.
Laughter,relentlessly back then. And let you go now ;-)

Health Progress Update

let's see, how far i've come since last year. i have made a pact that i need to loose weight earlier this year. and then i've tried.HARD. i lost about 16 kg.
For 2011 my resultion is loose another 5 kgs. and i feel it will be a harder jouney.
My body is in the comfort zone now. putting on anything or didnt put on anything the weight is still remaining THE SAME. truth is, a bit tired sometimes & wanna put it on a autopilot mode for a while.And i did for the last couple of month i didnt really dieting or being strict.but not went over board also on the food thingy. i eat regularly like a normal person does. (whatever defintion for normal is) hahaha.

But now, i want to be back on track.FAST LANE.FAST SPEED.
So the goal for 2011 is to continue my regular exercise (hopefully i can commit to three times a week) and back to non rice meal :P

If you wanna know my diet & exercise plan, you can update me by reading it daily.
I will update my progress (weight & meal). I do this in order to have a better overall feelings bout my health in the long term.

Ok here's my weekly plan :
MONDAY ==== Weight : 59 kg

bfast : a bowl of cereal >> DONE
lunch : 1 portion of green / leafy veggies + 1 portion of meat (no rice) >> DONE
afternoon : rujak without the palm sugar dressing
night : 1 portion of veggies + 1 small portion of meat (no rice)

drinks = plenty of water & sugarless tea >> DONE, tx God i'm not a heavy fan of sweet beverages

exercise = 1 hour cardio, devided into 4 sessions.

I will update daily of my accomplishment whether i succed or bend a little bit from the route. :) :)

Let's plan and do some action. Eat healthily live actively.EVERYDAY.

what's your weekend plan? i will be fully booked with some cooking activities,wire jewelry class, and some minor chores.Husband is away on a fishing trip @Binuangen, he is ecstatic,spent the entire nigh last nite packing & listing all the things he need tomorrow.Thank God i found the loose capucheon jacket that he like at ITC yesterday.He needs it.though the color is a bit cringe-y (soft purple)!! hahaha. It was the only loose shirt they have w/ capucheon, others are with very thick material (jacket like).It's not what he needed.
I actually plan on going back to east java this end of year,but oh NOOOOOO!! the ticket prices are syrocket high :) it will not be very wise to stick on the plan.need to resched.
i miss baby deanna soooooo much. this dear niece of mine is getting cuter by the day, my lil sister (her mom) thinks she's a handfull but still, CUTE THE MAXXXX!! miss youuu!! X]
as for the office matters,things went blahs n nothing worth reported :P :P it feels like only counting the days pass by..funniest thing, i actually FORGOT that i will be on duty this saturday, so more office time for moiii!!! *SIGH*

Bangkok Recap!

sawasdee kaaa!! hihihi, forgot, back in jakarta already not in bangkok anymore hahaha..
so, bangkok was wholelotta fun indeed,needles to say.great mini hideaways for me for a while.
airasia touchdown @9pm at saturday night.husband was so ready n already waited for me at the airport (yep, we took different flights). i was beyond happy to see his face at the arrival gate,and we go straight to Suanlum :) :) husband was very understanding.(insert poker face here :P)
we grab a quick bite there, and walk around the market until about 12.30pm.
Sadly yes,because of the riot most shops are still renovate their lots so (or maybe i came a bit too late?) not really much to see.
So first thing on Monday morning Catucak is our destination.AND I WAS SOOOO FRIGGIN EXCITED with all the splendours they offer hahaha.Yes, i snagged 3 outfits,1 flipflops,1 veryyy cute agenda,and .....what else? I FORGOT hahaha...we stayed until 6pm.
since the weather was so sunny, can't really resist to gulp some sweets. we were like two hugry pesks :D :D any colored water you name it we gulped it. Green Tea Latte, Cocoa, Teh Tarik, Soft drinks,not to mention relentless snacking also.. fried banana,chicken wings,assorted sausages,otak2 goreng (yes!! they have it!! TASTES AS YUMMY AS OURS!!) OH GOD! delish lunch (duck noodles :P :P) no wonder i gain a little weight (i found out later on bout this).
Our backpacking hostel was so comfortable.Reasonable,clean and strategic.
We stayed in Banglampoo district where mostly tourists stay (the el-cheapo ones like us haha).
I think nowadays Bangkok is more like Singapore with it's growing and vast advance tech they have. Basically BTS & MRT are very helpfull :) and cheap. Also the local bus.
Me and husband always try to use public transportastion instead of easily hailing a cab and ask the driver to go tour desired destination.It was all so worthy to be explore! you will miss alot if you just sat behind the driver's seat :) believe me.
So commute! Wander around everywhere with your foot,bus,train,subways!! FUNN!!
While maybe in the near future bangkok is gonna be still on our a bit far list to be re do,i will definetely miss it. :) :)

waaaa.... it's almost end of year, me terribly happy! husband managed to sneak me into his business trip to Thailand this weekend.So i'm preparing things (ha, i know by preparing means listing places to see,food to eat, and endless narcisistic photo session plans)and hope that i wont forget anything.
This is like the 100th of time i will step foot in the land of White Elephant Land, and every trip always excites me.I LOVE THAILAND.
Needless to say that food choices is almost never bad (Those mouth watering fruits,fish snacks,pork chips..bla bla bla). And places to see is guaranteed always MORE THAN GREAT!!
But rumour has it that Suan Lum, my fave-fave fave place is shrinking half its size because of the last riot.i dunno.gotta check it.
Chatucak is still on the list. Husband put his itenerary in ours,wanna know what it is? we are going to see the famous MYSTICAL TATTOO ARTIST :) :). Im as intrigued as he is.
I plan to see IKEA,Pratunam Market, and i dunno lotsa others.
Is it MBK gone already? ckckck...

I hope this trip will be divine.

I think we all agree that we are very proud to have Batik as our National Heritage.
For me, batik for long has been my favorite attire for almost every occasion.I am a true batik frenzy.Nothing fancy though, so far im trying to keep it as simple (& affordable) as possible.
But, many times i have difficulties with choosing color selections since mostly many of batik collection is so 'DARK', and i love fancy & bright colors.
Of course i browse familiar brands and they have them in candy colors,or bright ones that i love ,but they are too pricey for my wallet (pardon my lack of moolah in here )..hehe
So i keep browsing, and the BRIGHT DAY CAME!

I found its collection to be very affordable with wide range selection item,yet feels very personal since it's only make one color combination for it's collection.
So no duplicacy nightmare :) or a sudden twin in the crowd :) :)
The slight hiccup is how to get the collections. Since its fans are increasing,everytime it uploads new collection,guaranteed there will be a very long line for the product.
But personally it has never been considered as an obstacle for me to BOOK the collections :)

lets see,what have i been doing for this past month?
mostly all things yadda yadda yadda & a lil bit of excrutiating workload :(
Its almost end of year,which means budgeting starts.must calculate every tinsy winsy little project details.Mostly blaah and totally boring.But i survived though.with help of tonz and gazilions amount of snacking time. ah ha ha...
and we (me & dear husband) had several projects also aside from our 9-5 load it really took up our time.but since this is PASSION,we were really happy.
and to top all of this up,husband went on a business trip to Medan,West Sumatra and flew home with all this delisioso snacks (AGAIN!!) hihihi.ME MORE THAN HAPPY!! meanwhile i spent a lovely time with besties in Bandung,west Java.
Went to huge flea market ,stayed in a fab inn and eat great foods.It was all well spent i said.SUCH A RELIEF

last week we got a surprise,as a wedding gift a business partner decided to give us a very generous trip to BALI. Yepppp, a wonderful trip to the island of God.
in short,they gave us the best of everything while we were in Bali. Best airline ticket (we got business class tickets),best hotel,best & friendly driver, and many other bests ;-D
While we surely enjoyed our togetherness & quality time away from the hectic capital,the trip turned out to be the eye awakening trip & house interior hunting trip ;)

just finished the ehwa's story, why do i feel that living in ancient time it is so eery & beautiful?totally caught on the little episodes on how she watched closely by the riverside n waited for her "husband"'s face to appear and the one that she thought she was gonna die because of her period ;-)
the story told with sweet & bitter truth and the grapics are beautiful.

the effort to keep healthier lifestyle

as far as i remember,i was heavy.
not heavy as in obese or very overweight.but heavy.
in simple, fat.
it is not a very nice word to be heard.specially when it is being said to you.
but over the years, i have began to shake the slight hurt and laugh it off.
i became unaware of my health condition. i was just living my days without healthy planning at all.
i ate whatever i wanna eat. i ate whenever i wanna eat. nevermind that it was a huge slice of double choco cake and it's almost midnight.

But a shock in the early 2010 hit me. as long as i live (specially when i know im already in an overweight zone) i NEVER hit the scale.i didnt know what came over me that day and i stepped my feet.74 kgs (148 pounds).
I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I WAS THIS HEAVY.
and sudden fear crept in.the flashing thought ohf heart disease,diabetes,stroke, and whatever just come flew..

My then boyfriend [now lovable husband ;) ] support me through all this.
i decided to change my lifestyle.
it was not easy, even until now.
i slowly reduce my food intakes. (im a huge fan of fried foods & chocolates)

actually i didnt came up with a magic plan or anything.

These are some of the simple steps that i do until now :
1. regular exercise. (everyday or every other day, 30 - 60 mins cardio exercise)
2. stopped eating white rice for almost six months,now i start eating it again but in small portions.
3. i dont drink colored beverages to this day (no sodas,or any softdrink), i only gulp on tea (sugarless) & plain water... but occasionally drink some milk :P :P
4. reduce fried foods intake .[THE HARDEST PART]
5. more veggies on my plates :)

it is not always smooth sailing.i struggle each day.but the result is making me smile. i lost 17 kgs already.
now, im having a hard time loosing another 5kgs.i think my body is in the comfort zone... XD XD

i still wanna keep the lifestyle i lead,because now i begin to enjoy my night run at the gym.Fast paced walks with husband.Outdoor activities and so much more..

there were days that i wanna slack off & eat junks, but then i keep telling my self.
"the healthier the body the happier the mind"

i have to keep the effort alive!!

hari ini seperti hari2 biasanya, saya bangun pukul 06.30 pagi..15 menit lebih cepat dr alarm yg saya set 06.45 (hehehe... aneh ya, jam segitu aja bangunnya masih pasang alarm..kayak mau bangun subuh aja xD)
tapi ya itu, stelah klak kluk klak kluk saya mulai beberes n mandi krn harus ngantor.
Rasanya hari kok seperti terbang...

dan tiba2 hari pernikahan sudah di depan mata.
Ketika termenung dalam perjalanan ke kantor pagi tadi saya seperti mereplay kembali perjalanan saya bersama dia yang hampir 10 tahun kami jalani ;)
Saya tahu banyak yg akan berpendapat bahwa kami terlalu lama berpacaran,pernah juga sebagian bertanya apakah kami pacaran putus-sambung, atau pernah long distance dan bbrp pertanyaan yg muaranya sih kira2 ini : "kok bisa lama banget? ngapain aja? buat apa pacaran lama-lama?"

Sejujurnya kami pacaran seperti normalnya orang berpacaran,saling mengenal kemudian semakin dekat.Tidak pernah long distance,tidak pakai putus sambung, dan semuanya mengalir...Pada prakteknya memang ada banyak kerikil yang membuat jalan kami sedikit berliku dan menjadi kurang mulus. Tapi saya mungkin juga diberkati pasangan yang begitu sabar (i love you so much, munyu) dalam menghadapi kerikil2 kami,sehingga semuanya justru semakin membuat kami bertambah erat.Sehingga waktu yang panjang utk ukuran sebagian orang kami jalani dengan sangat santai & hepi ;)
Dia untuk saya adalah yang terbaik, with all his bad and good side ;-D .
Aduhh klo nostalgia begini suka bikin saya menye-menye deh hehehe...

Persiapan kami sejauh ini sih tinggal yang kecil2 dan final2..Doakan kami agar semua lancar ya... ;)

Personal Style.. Have we found ours yet?

For as long as i can remember, fashion is always a thing that draws my attention.
i will never intentionally call myself stylish or fashion concious or even saying -BLATANTLY- that i'm a trendy person.
But the attraction is more like im always drawn to sketches,fabrics,applications,cutting and colors.
These things combined,and you put it on to someone fit, not as in supermodel fit, but really can hold the style together, i think the dress will compliment the person and not the other way around.

Growing up, i always had an itch about vintage & retro styles.
Anything embroidered (hand, no mass production machine emroidery please!), polka dot pattern, full skirts,flowy flowery dresses drive me to the edge.Immediately!(if not sooner, ha-ha hello Stanford Blatch! xD)
So that pretty much is always my style.
From early teenager years until im now a woman of 32 years old.

I have never dress formally,even for office purposes.
Luckily, my creative works allow me to do such thing.
It is always refreshing to be able to dress not in suits.
There are those occasional big meetings that i have to obey dress codes.
But the occasions are pretty rare! xD

For references i have several fave places that guarantee,if i visit those place there's only a very slim chance i will come home empty handed.
My fave-fave-fave top of the top with cherry toppings place is PASAR GEDE BAGE,Bandung,West Java.
This huge flea market holds a very rich collection of vintage dresses, old jeans, Velvet Skirts, Sheer Dressses, Summer woven Bags, Cute Glasses and tons other!
I'm not ashamed to admit that part of my collection comes from this place.
Ofcourse we really have to be careful about the products' quality.Basically what you see is what you get!
But peruse away, look closely! and you will never regret.
I once found a cute jeans shorts for US$ 1. Dress for US$2 and so on ;)
The treatment for these garments is actually easy but always underline the cleanlines of the products.Always wash and steam them all with HOT WATER! Bring to the nearest laundry service if you must.

And the other great places is some Trade Centers and private label boutiques
(not the lavish,expensive ones offcourse,but tini tiny ones that hold personal style! ;) )

Have you began to wonder, what influence your style the most?
Is it Trends (from magazines,celeb,movies etc)? Circle of friends? Wallet Conditions? Parental or Social Upbringing? Religic Background?
Neverthelss, everything is so worthy to be explore.

Fashion is fun. And maybe most people see that fashion is shallow and people dont take it seriously.
But there are more than just to put fancy something something.
There are actually lots and lots of work put in there.
Efforts done. Miracles created.

So for you to put and decide what clothes you'll put on today is something serious.
If you dont take yourself seriously, who will ??
